Our family blog has been relatively quiet lately due to a mixture of yard work, Mandy working, the Olympics, outings, etc. It's summer time and we've kept ourselves busy.
Yard work has been especially time and energy consuming. At 7 years in our house, we finally decided to begin to put our mark on the yard. We've done little projects here and there, but nothing like the overhaul we are undertaking now. In short, our yard was out of control and wasn't being used very efficiently. Lots of hillsides that did nothing but grow weeds are now being turned into useful spaces. We've also decided to dig back into our front hillside about 6-8 feet to give the front yard more space.

WOW....what a difference. Haven't looked at the blog in a while. No wonder you needed a mancation Bryan. Lots of hard work has gone into this project. It looks awesome and the kids will certainly love playing in such a beautiful area. Love it!!
