Port Townsend

Bryan, the kids, and I ventured over to Port Townsend yesterday. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. We attempted to take the Edmonds ferry at 7:50am, but had to wait until 8:30 because there was already a line. We passed the time by drinking coffee and eating scones.

Once we got to Port Townsend we visited the Uptown Farmers' Market which had a decent amount of vendors. We bought some yummy tacos for lunch, honey sticks, tasty shortbread cookies, and some gorgeous flowers. Sage also scored some free, fresh lavender from one of the vendors because she was flashing her cute smile.

After the market we headed to Fort Worden State Park where we played in the barracks and at the beach. We spent a solid three hours there and could have easily stayed longer. It was hard to pry Cyrus and Sage away! We will definitely go back sometime soon as a family of 5!
