Today, I feel like an adult. Three kids, three jobs, a house and mortgage, other bills... definitely feel like an adult. I wondered if 35 was a special age, and I think it was more special than 18, 21, or 30. We went out for dinner, sans kids, to the Preservation Kitchen and had a great time. We had great drinks, great seafood, and finally had some friends + kids unexpectedly get seated right next to us.

I view birthdays as personal holidays. This is *your* day to enjoy. Despite going into work today, I enjoyed my day today.
