I made it until about 11am yesterday at work before deciding that work was just not as important as skiing. From my office, I have a fabulous view of the Seattle skyline and the surrounding mountains (of course, when it's not rainy cats and dogs). Yesterday, between the sun shining, the mountains glistening with snow, and work stinking to high heaven -- I threw in the towel and drove up to the mountain. I was on the slopes by 1:45pm and got 15 grueling runs in before calling it quits at 5:30. The conditions were fantastic and it was one of the best ski-days I've had in a long while.
