The Seattle area has been having some nice, warm, sunny weather this past week with temperatures in the mid-80's. This is pretty unusual, as it is usually cloudy through the 4th of July and the skies begin to open starting on July 5th. It looks like we will get to see our fair share of fireworks this year since the weather is predicted to stay warm and clear through at least next Monday! We will be heading to a parade in downtown Bothell tomorrow. Cyrus will get a kick out of all the firetrucks and Sage will just enjoy being near all the action. We went and bought some fireworks today, all of which are not the big, loud, explosive types, but rather the novice fireworks. We wanted to get a few that Cyrus and Sage could enjoy without having to worry about something catching fire, dodging a misfire, or scaring the living daylights out of one of them! We'll see how that goes!
